Solution comes with a right attitude

In the economic crisis that we are facing today so many times we tend to loose hope and we tend to deal things in a panic way. We complain a lot because business is not doing so well so many well people are getting fired because of the global crisis. As we go thorugh this season always remember Habakkuk 3: 16-19

Hab 3:16 I heard and my heart pounded,my lips quivered
at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled.Yet I will wait patiently for theday of calamity to come on the nation invading us.

Hab 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are
no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep
in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,

Hab 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be

joyful in God my Savior.

Hab 3:19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

Remember always to look to him and know that everything will be ok because God will always bring us to a new level as long as u seek him in these time of crisis. David teaches us to always maintain a good attitude in dealing with situations of our life. David maintain a good attitude when he has to face Goliath. What I learn from David is Solution comes with a right attitude”

  • Don’t get effected by the discouragement words around you:

1Sa 17:33 Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a boy, and he has been a fighting man from his youth.”

1Sa 17:43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

David didn’t get effected by what his people have to say he maintain a good attitude always he remains focus. At these we do hear a lot of discouraging news. It could be a certain business went bankrupt or maybe you yourself are experiencing hardship. Always remember people will give out discouragement word like “no way we can do good in business at these days”, etc. always remember to not be effected by discouragement words David didn't focus to the discouragement he keeps on going to destroy the giant

  • By taking out positive words (1 Samuel 17:34-36)

“BUT DAVID SAID TO, ‘YOUR SERVANT HAS BEEN KEEPING HIS FATHER’S SHEEP. WHEN A LION OR A BEAR CAME AND CARRIED OFF A SHEEP FROM THE FLOCK, I WENT AFTER IT, STRUCK IT AND RESCUED THE SHEEP FROM TIS MOUTH… YOUR SERVANT HAS KILLED BOTH THE LION AND THE BEAR ; THIS UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINE WILL BE LIKE ONE OF THEM, BECAUSE HE HAS DEFIED THE ARMIES OF THE LIVING GOD.” 1 SAMUEL 17: 34-36

David answers people discouragement by taking out positive words. Remember always to be positive in dealing with situation when you become negative you just destroy the hope in you stop saying “I can’t do it or I can’t take it anymore” and star taking out words like “ I can do it and the lord is control of my situation” when we say negative we are not giving chance for God to move. At these times start claiming your grounds and start thing will be good i know God has given me the strength to overcome this giant.

  • By not giving up ( 1 Samuel 17:50)

SO DAVID TRIUMPHED OVER THE PHILISTINE WITH A SLING AND A STONE; WITHOUT A SWORD IN HIS HAND HE STRUCK DOWN THE PHILISTINE AND KILLED HIM” 1 SAMUEL 17:50

The reason David triumphed was because he never gave up fighting the giant he keeps on believing in God that the almighty God will help him to overcome the giant. So friends lets all be triumphant in facing these giant by never giving and start believing in the almighty God.

I would like to end by saying be strong and always remember to maintain a good attitude God bless u all cheers

our attitude matters

for the past few months God has been teaching me that our reaction and attitude towards situation matters a lot. infact I believe that a positive reaction and a good attitude is the starting point in solving a particular problem.

God has been teaching me a lot about Romans 8:28
" And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

this means that in every situation we are facing God is working it out for the good. If we can hold on to this verse then i believe we could handle situations in a better way because we know God has a good planbehingd it

I have a story that i want to share. It happen on Sunday 16 November 208 after the teens outing while I was on the way to drop dimple (my fiancee) to her house i decided to fill the petrol first, after i filled the petrol my car wont start for no clear reason at all. because of the work of the Lord in my life instead of being panic i became calm and controlled in dealing with the situation. instead of seeing the negative part of situation i start seeing the positive side. I keep on telling to myselves that God has a good plan behind this. after an hour the guy from the Toyota came and fixed my car in the matter of 5 minutes the car is fixed and i went on my way.

i noticed by being calm and knowing God is in control of the situation makes the problem lighter and it makes the problem not a big deal after all. at that time i know the enemy were trying to attack us ( me nd dimple) but I noticed it is better to focus on the work of the lord rather than the work of theenmy

always remember God is in control of ur situation God bless u cheers

going out of your comfort zone

In general people don't like change, they like things to stay the way it is. change makes us feel uncomfortable many a times when change happens there will unclear answers and unclear situations happening. when this happens we will feel regret and wish to go back to the way things were.
Exodus 14:11 "They said to Moses ' was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? what have you done to us by bring us out of Egypt?'" The Israelites were complaining because a change had took place and a difficult situation has taken place hence when these happen they want to go back to slavery in Egypt

The hardest thing to do is to stay strong when change happens in our life. So many of us gave up when they face change but the idea is to stay strong in the will of God. we might not like where God is leading us to but always remember don't give up on God and continue to follow him because he is the only who holds our future. The Israelites didn't like where God is leading but if they would have gone back that nation will never step in to the promise land.

I just opened a shop, sometimes I fee how i wish i cold still go back to the comfort zone but i know that I know that for me to be able to open a shop is a miracle by the Lord and i know God has lead me to take this step even though it brings discomfort I know that God is just bringing me to my promise land

so for all of you when God leads you for a change always remember is for the good you might struggle but remember God is always in control of our situation cheers u all GBU

The Power of Mosquito

Last 2 Saturday (14 June 2008) was the day I found out that I got dengue fever. From that day until the next 5 days my fever stays in 40 degrees celcius. All these happen because of mosquito who stung me. from that Saturday until Sunday (22 June 2008) was the time where I thought I was going to die and was the most depressing period of my life all this happen because of a mosquito.
As now I am healed (praise God for that), I started to evaluate of what I learn during that depressing experience. God showed me a revelation and told me that he has called me to be the "mosquito"
just like a dengue mosquito overwhelms me with sickness God have called me to be the mosquito who will overwhelmed people with his presence. God have called me to start using the power that he has give me to stung people to wake up and to get soaked in his presence. What a lesson learned from a depressing situation.
As I was praying God reminded me bout the family camp how we all as leaders we have to be working together as a unit and make sure to destroy all disunity. God reminded me again remember as one mosquito can bring so much effect to our lives in terms of sickness. let us all unite in his body and become a mosquito and start using the power that God have given to us to stung people so that the children of God the sons and daughters of God will be out of dryness and start stepping to their promise land
I am excited for the upcoming family cam i cant wait to see the move of God I am so excited and fired up because I know exciting things are ahead of us

God bless you all keep the fire burning

ARE YOU HIS SHEEP?

"But you do not believe me because you are not my sheep. My sheep listens to my voice;I know them, and they follow me." John 10:26-27

Last Saturday (31-05-08) we had an awesome teaching from the YWAM team they teach us about hearing the voice of God it was a very practical session and it was very useful and beneficial for all of us.
As I was pondering about the subject this morning the Lord reminded me that the only one who listens to the voice of God is his sheep. My question to you all, are u his sheep? it is so easy to claim that Jesus is our shepherd and we are his sheep but are we living the life of a sheep. If we are not that means we are not his sheep and we are not listening to his voice.
As i was learning this portion of Scripture (John 10:26-27) i learned there are 3 criteria that we need to do to become his sheep

1. We need to believe in the shepherd: all sheep have faith in their shepherds. as a sheep of Christ we need to put our trust in him. we need to surrender everything to him. have faith in him. if we do that you will see how he will help you to overcome the challenges of life.

2. We need to know him: Jesus knows his sheep but as his sheep do you know him? if we read in verse 14 it says "I am the good shepherd I know my sheep and my sheep know me" as his sheep we need to know him. not just know about him we need to know him intimately. we need to get close to him. the deeper u know him the easier it will be to hear his voce. just as in verse 14 ans 27 Jesus says that he knows his sheep the same way we need to know our shepherd

3. We need to follow the shepherd: as a sheep we are the followers of the shepherd as Jesus is our shepherd we need to follow him in how he dos things, we need to think like how he thinks, we need to see like how he sees. we need to obey him and let him guide you

So let us all be his sheep and let us all hear his voice he is eager and excited to give you revelation he is excited to reveal his plan for your life. So be his sheep

God bless you all

DONT LET UR SITUATION STEAL YOUR JOY

Habakkuk 3: 17-19 " though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet i will rejoice in the Lord, i will be joyful in God my Savior."

Many a times we let our situation dictates our life. when situation is intense and it seems everything is hopeless we become so sad and loose our joy. The devil wants us to be stress, he wants us to feel hopeless and make it seems like there is no help for you. he doesnt want us to turn to God if there is problem. he wants us to act according to the situations that you are feeling.

The bible tells us that the Joy of the lord is our strength. rather than listening to the devil and let situation dictates you i encourage to be like Habakkuk who turns to God and continue to have Joy in our life. The bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength, friends continue to be filled with his Joy because through his joy we can past any challenges because he is the one who will strengthen us.

Remember it takes more muscles to frown rather than to smile so keep smiling and be filled with Joy. God bless you and be with you

A FRUITFUL TRIP

Last weekend (18 April-20 April 2008) I went to Singapore to be involved in the youth alpha confrence. it was a very fruitful trip. seriously for those of you who is not involved in Alpha should get plugged into Alpha ASAP coz its just an awesome and an effective ministry. I believe that as our church will start of Alpha more and more souls will be saved I am excited for it

When i was in Singapore I also took the time to meet up with all my bible school friends. As I meet them I remember myself when i was 18 where all of us were sharing our calling and the promises that God gave us. And now 5 years have past and when I go there I see the result of his promise. So many of my friends are doin what God have called them to do they never loose focus on the calling that God has for them and that just built me up in my belief that no matter what happen Gods promises will always come to past

Friends remember that God is never too late he is always on time whatever he has promised it will come through maybe now it looks impossible but we have a God that makes all things possible. Stay strong and keep the faith

God bless you

Are you Ready?

What a wonderful service we had on Saturday 8th of March 2008. The praise and worship awesome. The presence of God was just hovering the sanctuary. Such a privilege to see youth being on fire and worshiping God.
I spoke about being ready for God. the message was taken from Matthew 25:1-13 it was about the parable of the ten virgins. these ten bride were waiting for its bridegroom to come 5 were wise the other 5 were foolish. the wise one's they brought a spare oil and the other 5 didnt bring any spare oil. the bride can be symbolized as us while the bridegroom is Christ. we are all waiting for the bridegroom to come and take us to be with him. so many of us are tired of waiting for the second coming of Christ and we end up living our own life. the bible clearly stated that Christ would come like a thieve at the time which is unexpected. hence we all have to be ready at all time so that we would not end up like the foolish one's. we have to be wise who is always ready with spare oil so that we can fill in when our lamps are out.
I would like to share with you 3 tips so that we can always be ready they are
1. Be prepare In and out of season (Matthew 25:3-4): the foolish one's never bring spare oil they were prepared for the bridegroom to come early but they were not ready if the bridegroom comes late so friends we have to be prepared at all time as a child of God we have to be alert at all times. so many times we end up doing things our way because judgment time is still very long. but friends let me tell you be ready for judgment because it will at an unexpected time we all don't know the day and the time of judgment it could happen today it could happen tomorrow we have to be ready with our oil so that when Christ comes our lamps will always shine.
2. Don't depend on the anointing of other (Matthew 25:8-9): when the bridegroom come they ask for oil from the wise one's, and the wise one's there is not enough oil for 2 people. friends so many times we depend on people for our oil. we hop churches wanting to be prayed by different pastors just to expect oil from them. when we do that we are like the foolish virgin. we should not depend on great pastor to lay hands on you. friends we should be having our own oil, our own anointing, God empower all his child he didn't have certain child that he empowered he empowered all of us to come to him and get his anointing and he can answer your prayer. it is not necessary that a certain pastor need to be praying for your needs and it will be answered you can pray for your needs and you will see God will meet up your need as long as it is n line with his will. don't depend on people but be Dependant to God
3. Don't delay things (Matthew 25:10) : as i was reading this portion of scripture it came to me why didn't the foolish one's buy oil earlier when the bridegroom wasnt coming as early as they expected? well i think they are called foolish for a reason. many a times we become like the foolish one's we delay things we delay our devotion time, we delay our works just because of a good TV show that is going on or maybe something else. as a child of God we should not delay our time with God we should be the one's who will always be discipline in the things that we are doing

in conclusion i would like for all of you to check yourself which group do you belong the wise one's or the foolish one's and if u feel that you are in the foolosih and you want to change seek his face and tell him that you are sorry and you want to change.

thank you all for your support God bless you

EXTREME CHRISTMAS

EXTREME BAND IN MAL KELAPA GADING

prayer request

Hey everybody, today I want to invite you all to join in prayer with me for the youths all around the world. Today me and few people from the youth we were doing mission work in raffles school. After we were done with the students I had a chat with the teacher discussing about the issues that has been happening in the school. After listening to many of the issues, I just feel that the devil is trying to take control of the life of the youth.. There were issues which deal with psychological, sex and many more. The youth nowadays face issues that is even bigger than some of the issues that we adult face

I just feel such a strong burden that we as the body of Christ should start praying for the youth and start claiming back what the devil have taken from their life. The Lord reminded me of a verse in the book Luke which stated that the Lord have given us the authority to trample down snakes and scorpions lets trample the snakes and scorpion that is disturbing the youth nowadays.

As for all of us lets start taking back what the devil have Taken from our life and start to move forward in a way that is stronger than before, remember the one that is in you is greater than anything else that is in this world.
let us all pray in unity to bring forth freedom to the people who is in bondage to the youths that are facing psychological problem and other issues

Thank you for your support God bless you all

Extreme missions

Mission is a big part of ICCJ vision at the same time is a big part for the vision of Extreme Reality. I believe that the mission work that we do should be bringing people to the kingdom of God. Our vision for our mission team is to reach out to the un-churched youth and so far God has been leading us to the places where we find un churched youth. Our main focus is to reach out to schools. So far we are closely connected to one school and i believe many more schools will be touched through the ministry that God has given us. We have been doing our reach out through teachings and music.
As I go onto raffles week in and week out at first I feel that it was such a drag to go there and end up reaching to some and see no fruits. But God told me at those times dont give up and now God is showing me the fruits. Now the people over there are more open and every week I go there God will lead me to someone who is in need of counselling and now God has lifted our youth up because we as a group persevere and hold on even though when it was a drag to do it.
1 Corinthians clearly state that we have to keep on running the race and train our body to reach the eternal crown.I believe that persevearance is one of character we need to run the race. Challenges will come but let me encourage keep on pressing on and continue to persevere so that we will reach the finish line.
I believe that our vision for mision is powerful but i know as we go to the next level there will be new devil and as we are tested all the time I know and I know that we will persevere and press on. thanks for your support God bless you

THE POWER OF TONGUE

Hey all of you. I feel so excited filling this blog every now and then. Everytime when I fill this blog I always have something great to tell all of you. we had a great service on Saturday (26 January 2008). God was moving in a tremendous way. The praise and worship was great and the glory of God was just upon the youth in a tremendous way.
The lord told me to preach regarding the power of tongue. The message was taken from the book of James.
3 ways to we can control the power of our tongue are

  1. Guard your tongue: The bible says that what we say can a the life of others. we have to watch what we say. So many times we say hurtful things to other without us actually knowing what we have said. So many of us youth we teased our friends by using negative words to others. How many times we have listen to parents confessing negative things to their children? what we say to others have an important effect on the people who receive our words. . if we continue teasing our friends saying that they are no good or we say to our friends "stupid" then our friends will turn to be stupid. We need to be an encourager instead of telling negative things to other. Instead of complaining or criticizing all the time lets start a habit of complementing people. Instead of seeing the dark side of people see the bright side. Watch what you say and that will make us into a better person.
  2. Don't gossip: The bible says the words that we speak is like a spark of a fire in a forest. It is small but it spreads and becomes a big fire. When we spread rumors and gosips we are creating a spark which will be a big fire. Spreading rumors and gossips result in inaccurate information or incomplete information. As Christians we should cnot gossips because gossips just create conflicts and miscommunication. Our gossip can destroy the whole church. Stop gossiping and if you have problem with someone or you want to know something regarding someone better of ask the person directly rather than speaking and spreading rumors behind their back.
  3. Be consistent in the words that you speak: The bible says with our mouth we praise God and with our mouth we speak curses to people. So many of us we speak so well about God in church and cursed him outside. We need to be consistent with our words. Because consitency in our word results in integrity. If you say you will come at a certain time for an appointment you better come on time. Because if we keep on failing to meet our appointments and never come on time then we are not consistent and we are being a stumbling block to other people. Be consistent practice what we preach and always make sure be consistent in what we say.

in conclusion to control our tongue we should
    1 Guard our tongue
    2 Don't gossip
3 Be consistent in the words that we speak

Thanks a lot for your support. God bless you all

God is Good

What a great service we had on Saturday 19Th of January 2008. We had a praise and worship night which is led by Sassha and Sneha. The presence of the Lord was just pouring down in that place. For all of you who didn't join this meeting, guys you missed out. And for all you English speaking youths, if you are not apart of any youth i would encourage to come and join us on Saturdays 5 pm in Bellagio boutique mall 5Th floor (in the lift press 3)ICCJ sanctuary.

This week the message was about getting real. To get real, means we have to accept what God has in store for us that is eternal life. what the world have to offer us is temporary pleasure. friends the world can only hurt and lead you to destruction but God can lead you to eternal pleasure and can give you eternal life. so friends let be real before God

Today 21st January 2008 Me and Sahil (missions coordinator for the youth) went to Raffles school to do a youth mission outreach. God has been so good. 3 months back only 2 guys would come for the leadership training which is organized by the youth mission team. now 12 guys are actively coming for the leadership training. God has been moving in this training which is done in a small group setting. unbelievers are coming in to hear the biblical way of leadership. Praise the Lord

The school have told us to conduct their chapel time for the whole semester. 200 youths are required to attend the chapel. This is such a great opportunity for us as a group to reach out to them. I pray and confess in the name of Jesus through this opportunity many souls will be saves and many lives will be changed.

I just want to thank you for all your support and prayers. Continue to pray for us and I believe that the best is yet to come for all of us

Gaining the Favor of God

i believe that great thing is about to happen in ICCJ and to all the youth in Indonesia. God have proven himself faithful to his people and he will always be faithful. this is my 1st blog. in my next blog i will be adding pictures of what have been in extreme reality youth.

if u havent join us i would encourage to come and check us out on saturdays 5 pm. we are located in Bellagio boutique mall 5th floor (in the lift press 3) in the ICCJ sanctuary.

we had an awesome service this week in ER. God was moving in a powerful way. i spoke about gaining God's favor. to go forward and to go to a deeper level we need his favor in our lives. in the bible we can learn from 3 characters who gain the favor of God

1. we can learn from Abel. Abel gave his best to the Lord and the lord was pleased with him and God's favor was upon his life. as a child of God we need to give our best to God whether it may be our ministry, our work, our schools. dont just give your spare time to the Lord give your best. just think if u r only given spare time by the people closest to you. it hurts!!! so give your best just like how Abel did

2 we can learn from Enoch. Enoch walked with God. God was so pleased with Enoch, till God just took him away. Enoch never had a physical death experinece God took him. just imagine being so closed with God till he just takes u away to be with him without experiencing death. i want to be that close to God i want to experience encounters with Jesus ad i want to be more intimate with him. God's favor was upon enoch. do u want to be close to him. i invite u all to start walking with God involve him in every decision u make dont brush him aside

3 we can learn from Noah. Noah is obedient. because of his obedience, God's favor was upon him, he and his family became the only survivor of the flood. Noah obeyed God by building an ark in the place where they have never seen floods before. all his friends must have think NOah is a freak but Noah didnt care wat people think he care only for wat god wants him to do. friends lets be obedient dont listen to ur frends listen to Jesus. do wat he tells u to do even though it sounds stupid or controversial do wat he wants u to do and gain his favor

in conclusion let us gain the favor of god by
1 Giving our best to God
2 By walking with God
3 By obeying God

God bless u all, keep the candle burning
