Solution comes with a right attitude

In the economic crisis that we are facing today so many times we tend to loose hope and we tend to deal things in a panic way. We complain a lot because business is not doing so well so many well people are getting fired because of the global crisis. As we go thorugh this season always remember Habakkuk 3: 16-19

Hab 3:16 I heard and my heart pounded,my lips quivered
at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled.Yet I will wait patiently for theday of calamity to come on the nation invading us.

Hab 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are
no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep
in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,

Hab 3:18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be

joyful in God my Savior.

Hab 3:19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

Remember always to look to him and know that everything will be ok because God will always bring us to a new level as long as u seek him in these time of crisis. David teaches us to always maintain a good attitude in dealing with situations of our life. David maintain a good attitude when he has to face Goliath. What I learn from David is Solution comes with a right attitude”

  • Don’t get effected by the discouragement words around you:

1Sa 17:33 Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a boy, and he has been a fighting man from his youth.”

1Sa 17:43 He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

David didn’t get effected by what his people have to say he maintain a good attitude always he remains focus. At these we do hear a lot of discouraging news. It could be a certain business went bankrupt or maybe you yourself are experiencing hardship. Always remember people will give out discouragement word like “no way we can do good in business at these days”, etc. always remember to not be effected by discouragement words David didn't focus to the discouragement he keeps on going to destroy the giant

  • By taking out positive words (1 Samuel 17:34-36)

“BUT DAVID SAID TO, ‘YOUR SERVANT HAS BEEN KEEPING HIS FATHER’S SHEEP. WHEN A LION OR A BEAR CAME AND CARRIED OFF A SHEEP FROM THE FLOCK, I WENT AFTER IT, STRUCK IT AND RESCUED THE SHEEP FROM TIS MOUTH… YOUR SERVANT HAS KILLED BOTH THE LION AND THE BEAR ; THIS UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINE WILL BE LIKE ONE OF THEM, BECAUSE HE HAS DEFIED THE ARMIES OF THE LIVING GOD.” 1 SAMUEL 17: 34-36

David answers people discouragement by taking out positive words. Remember always to be positive in dealing with situation when you become negative you just destroy the hope in you stop saying “I can’t do it or I can’t take it anymore” and star taking out words like “ I can do it and the lord is control of my situation” when we say negative we are not giving chance for God to move. At these times start claiming your grounds and start thing will be good i know God has given me the strength to overcome this giant.

  • By not giving up ( 1 Samuel 17:50)

SO DAVID TRIUMPHED OVER THE PHILISTINE WITH A SLING AND A STONE; WITHOUT A SWORD IN HIS HAND HE STRUCK DOWN THE PHILISTINE AND KILLED HIM” 1 SAMUEL 17:50

The reason David triumphed was because he never gave up fighting the giant he keeps on believing in God that the almighty God will help him to overcome the giant. So friends lets all be triumphant in facing these giant by never giving and start believing in the almighty God.

I would like to end by saying be strong and always remember to maintain a good attitude God bless u all cheers

our attitude matters

for the past few months God has been teaching me that our reaction and attitude towards situation matters a lot. infact I believe that a positive reaction and a good attitude is the starting point in solving a particular problem.

God has been teaching me a lot about Romans 8:28
" And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

this means that in every situation we are facing God is working it out for the good. If we can hold on to this verse then i believe we could handle situations in a better way because we know God has a good planbehingd it

I have a story that i want to share. It happen on Sunday 16 November 208 after the teens outing while I was on the way to drop dimple (my fiancee) to her house i decided to fill the petrol first, after i filled the petrol my car wont start for no clear reason at all. because of the work of the Lord in my life instead of being panic i became calm and controlled in dealing with the situation. instead of seeing the negative part of situation i start seeing the positive side. I keep on telling to myselves that God has a good plan behind this. after an hour the guy from the Toyota came and fixed my car in the matter of 5 minutes the car is fixed and i went on my way.

i noticed by being calm and knowing God is in control of the situation makes the problem lighter and it makes the problem not a big deal after all. at that time i know the enemy were trying to attack us ( me nd dimple) but I noticed it is better to focus on the work of the lord rather than the work of theenmy

always remember God is in control of ur situation God bless u cheers

going out of your comfort zone

In general people don't like change, they like things to stay the way it is. change makes us feel uncomfortable many a times when change happens there will unclear answers and unclear situations happening. when this happens we will feel regret and wish to go back to the way things were.
Exodus 14:11 "They said to Moses ' was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? what have you done to us by bring us out of Egypt?'" The Israelites were complaining because a change had took place and a difficult situation has taken place hence when these happen they want to go back to slavery in Egypt

The hardest thing to do is to stay strong when change happens in our life. So many of us gave up when they face change but the idea is to stay strong in the will of God. we might not like where God is leading us to but always remember don't give up on God and continue to follow him because he is the only who holds our future. The Israelites didn't like where God is leading but if they would have gone back that nation will never step in to the promise land.

I just opened a shop, sometimes I fee how i wish i cold still go back to the comfort zone but i know that I know that for me to be able to open a shop is a miracle by the Lord and i know God has lead me to take this step even though it brings discomfort I know that God is just bringing me to my promise land

so for all of you when God leads you for a change always remember is for the good you might struggle but remember God is always in control of our situation cheers u all GBU

The Power of Mosquito

Last 2 Saturday (14 June 2008) was the day I found out that I got dengue fever. From that day until the next 5 days my fever stays in 40 degrees celcius. All these happen because of mosquito who stung me. from that Saturday until Sunday (22 June 2008) was the time where I thought I was going to die and was the most depressing period of my life all this happen because of a mosquito.
As now I am healed (praise God for that), I started to evaluate of what I learn during that depressing experience. God showed me a revelation and told me that he has called me to be the "mosquito"
just like a dengue mosquito overwhelms me with sickness God have called me to be the mosquito who will overwhelmed people with his presence. God have called me to start using the power that he has give me to stung people to wake up and to get soaked in his presence. What a lesson learned from a depressing situation.
As I was praying God reminded me bout the family camp how we all as leaders we have to be working together as a unit and make sure to destroy all disunity. God reminded me again remember as one mosquito can bring so much effect to our lives in terms of sickness. let us all unite in his body and become a mosquito and start using the power that God have given to us to stung people so that the children of God the sons and daughters of God will be out of dryness and start stepping to their promise land
I am excited for the upcoming family cam i cant wait to see the move of God I am so excited and fired up because I know exciting things are ahead of us

God bless you all keep the fire burning

ARE YOU HIS SHEEP?

"But you do not believe me because you are not my sheep. My sheep listens to my voice;I know them, and they follow me." John 10:26-27

Last Saturday (31-05-08) we had an awesome teaching from the YWAM team they teach us about hearing the voice of God it was a very practical session and it was very useful and beneficial for all of us.
As I was pondering about the subject this morning the Lord reminded me that the only one who listens to the voice of God is his sheep. My question to you all, are u his sheep? it is so easy to claim that Jesus is our shepherd and we are his sheep but are we living the life of a sheep. If we are not that means we are not his sheep and we are not listening to his voice.
As i was learning this portion of Scripture (John 10:26-27) i learned there are 3 criteria that we need to do to become his sheep

1. We need to believe in the shepherd: all sheep have faith in their shepherds. as a sheep of Christ we need to put our trust in him. we need to surrender everything to him. have faith in him. if we do that you will see how he will help you to overcome the challenges of life.

2. We need to know him: Jesus knows his sheep but as his sheep do you know him? if we read in verse 14 it says "I am the good shepherd I know my sheep and my sheep know me" as his sheep we need to know him. not just know about him we need to know him intimately. we need to get close to him. the deeper u know him the easier it will be to hear his voce. just as in verse 14 ans 27 Jesus says that he knows his sheep the same way we need to know our shepherd

3. We need to follow the shepherd: as a sheep we are the followers of the shepherd as Jesus is our shepherd we need to follow him in how he dos things, we need to think like how he thinks, we need to see like how he sees. we need to obey him and let him guide you

So let us all be his sheep and let us all hear his voice he is eager and excited to give you revelation he is excited to reveal his plan for your life. So be his sheep

God bless you all

DONT LET UR SITUATION STEAL YOUR JOY

Habakkuk 3: 17-19 " though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet i will rejoice in the Lord, i will be joyful in God my Savior."

Many a times we let our situation dictates our life. when situation is intense and it seems everything is hopeless we become so sad and loose our joy. The devil wants us to be stress, he wants us to feel hopeless and make it seems like there is no help for you. he doesnt want us to turn to God if there is problem. he wants us to act according to the situations that you are feeling.

The bible tells us that the Joy of the lord is our strength. rather than listening to the devil and let situation dictates you i encourage to be like Habakkuk who turns to God and continue to have Joy in our life. The bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength, friends continue to be filled with his Joy because through his joy we can past any challenges because he is the one who will strengthen us.

Remember it takes more muscles to frown rather than to smile so keep smiling and be filled with Joy. God bless you and be with you

A FRUITFUL TRIP

Last weekend (18 April-20 April 2008) I went to Singapore to be involved in the youth alpha confrence. it was a very fruitful trip. seriously for those of you who is not involved in Alpha should get plugged into Alpha ASAP coz its just an awesome and an effective ministry. I believe that as our church will start of Alpha more and more souls will be saved I am excited for it

When i was in Singapore I also took the time to meet up with all my bible school friends. As I meet them I remember myself when i was 18 where all of us were sharing our calling and the promises that God gave us. And now 5 years have past and when I go there I see the result of his promise. So many of my friends are doin what God have called them to do they never loose focus on the calling that God has for them and that just built me up in my belief that no matter what happen Gods promises will always come to past

Friends remember that God is never too late he is always on time whatever he has promised it will come through maybe now it looks impossible but we have a God that makes all things possible. Stay strong and keep the faith

God bless you
